Hanx Biopharmaceuticals (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 03378) and XtalPi Holdings Limited (HKEX: 02228) have entered into a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement and a platform use license agreement granting Hanx access to XtalPi's AI-driven drug discovery platform, XtalPi Science, to support its biologics, XDC, and other innovative drug programs. No specific clinical candidates are named in the deal, and financial terms were not disclosed.
XtalPi Science integrates quantum physics-based first-principles calculations, AI models, high-performance cloud computing, and robotic automation. Under the agreement, Hanx said it intends to procure platform services and usage quotas on a needs basis, applying the platform to antibody design and optimization, XDC payload design, and the customization of other candidate molecules and functional modules. The parties said they intend to establish a long-term cooperative relationship, with specific procurement scale and service scope to be determined through individual orders or subsequent agreements.
The structure is a commercial procurement and platform licensing arrangement rather than a co-discovery partnership, with Hanx retaining responsibility for its own R&D programs and XtalPi providing platform access and technical support. The parties said the scope of use may be expanded based on business needs.
